Christina Conrad

christinaChristina Conrad began her yogic journey in 2003.  After her first Ashtanga yoga class in aquaint Capital Hill studio, she was hooked, finally feeling at home in herbody.  As she explored the physicalasana, the practice began to open, as not only a practice of movement, but as apractice of mind.  Through college inArizona, she connected with a studio, which became a driving force for heremotional, physical and spiritual growth. The philosophy of yoga became the glue to her practice as she would comehome to a house of collegiate women and relay the experiences she’d had on themat.  Encouraging these women to be trueto themselves despite common stereotypes and connect with their inner Self gaveinsight into her true passion – giving the gift of yoga.  After completing the 9-month, 200-hour certification programat Yogalife, she is proud to bring her knowledge and experiences to othersthrough this lifelong journey that is yoga.
