Erin teaches studio classes for all levels and specializes in yoga for athletes.  She began practicing yoga as a collegiate basketball player in San Francisco.  Initially she thought it was slow and, well, boring- a waste of time when she could be in the weight room or on the track.  But while healing an injury, yoga helped her learn the importance of balancing effort and ease, and since then she has found great joy in the way it has brought her body and mind into greater balance. 

Erin has taken her knowledge of grounding and centering into studio classes and workshops that cater to a broad range of practitioners, from first-timers to advanced.  She also works with athletes and teams around Seattle including the University of Washington Athletics Department.  Her classes focus on linking breath and movement in flowing sequences and building physical and mental strength in held postures.  Emphasis on core muscles helps students gain awareness and strength for daily activities.
