Meditation and Kirtan Chanting Practice
For those looking to dive deeper into their yogic practice, this class will explore the immeasurable benefits of Meditation and Kirtan. Suitable for anyone new or old to meditation, we will learn the fundamentals of meditation as you will are led through a guided practice. Following our meditation practice, we will enjoy Kirtan together, a form of Bhakti, or devotional yoga. Kirtan is the call-and-response chanting of mantras with the accompaniment of musical instruments. Sound, which is made up of vibrations, is energy, and we can release the energy from these Sanskrit mantras through rhythmic repetition. Allowing ourselves the time and space to focus inward, Meditation and Kirtan can help restore balance and harmony and create the peace of mind and contentment we seek. Led by Mandi Grover.
