julia_simpsonJulia Simpson found yoga in 2008 as an outlet for her high stress, demanding finance job. The athleticism and grace of the practice resonated with her immediately. Even more, she discovered a practical life tool in the ancient wisdom of yoga. Julia left her job soon after beginning her teacher training at the ISHTA Yoga headquarters in New York City. She studied ISHTA Yoga under founder Yogiraj Alan Finger and senior teachers Jean Koerner and Sarah Platt-Finger. She teaches a physically challenging and energetic class, but always with reverence for the breath and proper alignment. Her intent is to leave students feeling energized and rejuvenated, as well as calm and balanced on all levels - mind, body, and spirit.
