Maria Williquette comes to Yogalife in her new role as a teacher after recently returning from a nine month long journey around the world. While traveling, she studied yoga in places as diverse as Argentina, South Africa, and Nepal. Maria has been working at Yogalife in various capacities for almost five years and has been serious about her yoga practice for nearly ten years. As a teacher, Maria embodies both depth and connection as well as joy and creativity, and she will certainly arrive to class with a smile. In her other life, Maria is a graduate student working towards a MA in Psychology at Antioch University. She is currently interested in melding her yoga practice and psychology studies to create a holistic approach to teaching and therapy. |
