Yoga Nidra & Body Sensing with Laura

Yoga Nidra is an ancient meditation technique.  We engage in this practice to achieve deep physical relaxation, eliminate stress, solve personal problems, resolve trauma and overcome powerful emotions such as fear, anxiety and depression.  Yoga Nidra integrates the psyche and restores the sense of harmony and joy that is an inherent quality of our True Nature.

This series will explore the complex layers our being, starting with the gross physical body and moving into subtler energetic realms.  Each session will begin with a brief discussion and will include a body sensing yoga and yoga nidra practice.  Resources for further study and home practice will be provided.  No previous yoga or meditation experience required.

Monday:  Overview & Sheath of Physical Sensation
Tuesday: Sheath of Breath and Energy
Wednesday: Sheaths of Emotion and Cognition
Thursday: Sheath of Joy, Bliss and Love
Friday: Sheath of I-Ness and Conclusion.

 

Location:  Yogalife Greenlake 7200 Woodlawn Ave N

Time: 6:30-8:30am

Cost: $100 for intensive (no drop-ins, pre-registration required)
