Kim Mcarthy aka Soule
Painting
Hailing from Seattle, Kim's site, Urban Soule, is rich with creativity. The majority of her work is spray paint and ink on stenciled canvas or wood with, as suggested by the medium, roots in street art. However, incorporating themes of the self, pop imagery, koi fish, crows and medical references - her work is at times lighthearted and personal with a decidedly feminine nuance. The iconographic approach used in her work creates a cohesive body of work with broad appeal.

Donna McCord
Glass Blower
“The Space Inside Between You And Me” The series “The Space Inside Between You And Me” is made in reflection on our mind, body and spirit connection.  Each vessel is an abstraction on a Buddha figure in seated mediation.  The pieces are made with found objects that are collected while contemplating a certain time, place or personal relationship her life.  This series is a study on how our relationships are internal reflections of our collected mind, body and spirit experience.

Donna McCord has been blowing glass for over 10 years, and her commitment to glass blowing continues to inform her relationship with her surroundings.  When Donna first started to blow glass she began to contemplate where the things she was using and eating were coming from, and how they were contributing to her life.  She believes that using hand-made objects contributes to energetic health and wellbeing.  These goblets are her new production series and are available for commission in a variety of colors.
